In 2015, I was asked by the past chairman, Clifford Dann, to help setting up and administering a contract for building a new Assembly Hall, Backstage and Kitchens at Ngecho Secondary School, Gilgil.  This was by far and away the largest project that HSK committed to undertake and as a construction professional I felt I could make a real difference in establishing a building that would enhance the community and the school’s ability to educate its children. The project took two years to build and is now complete and constructed to a high standard. During this time I subsequently became a trustee and later chairman of the charity.

Along with my wife, Helen, I feel a deep commitment to build on the very firm foundations laid down by my predecessors and along with the current trustees will endeavour to continue the charities plans to bring a better education and wellbeing to the schools under HSK’s domain.
