HSK’s Vice-Chair Amie Willenberg helps with a recent donation dropped off at the Computer 4 Africa’s head offices in Kent.
Their reception area was amassed with a variety of IT equipment that will go onto impact approximatley 140 people in Africa, items included base units, flat screen monitors and associated accessories.
“Russell Publishing is committed to supporting charities that further education and so Computers 4 Africa was a natural choice when deciding what to do with the equipment we had. We very much hope that they go a long way in helping to benefit those less fortunate,” Amie Willenberg, Event Director.
“We hope we can support Harambee Schools Kenya in the future and thank Russell Publishing for donating. We have worked extensively into Kenya in the past but more connections mean we can impact more people, helping to bridge the digital divide and break the poverty cycle. This IT equipment donated will be beneficial to many!” Sharon Roberts, Head of Marketing, Computers 4 Africa.
The items will now go through their secure warehouse where all memory devices will be securely data wiped up to Ministry of Defense standards, and every item will be refurbished and cleaned prior to shipment.
