All the schools which we support are community schools with very basic facilities. Most are desperately understaffed and rely on sporadic community fundraising initiatives to support their infrastructure. The local communities are so poor that the funds raised are rarely sufficient to pay for the maintenance of the existing buildings, let alone to pay for new and better ones.
